When you create an account, we collect your email address and name. When you use the service, we collect usage metrics including job counts, processing durations, and error rates to operate and improve the platform.

We collect standard server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps) for security and debugging purposes.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and operate the transcoding service
• Process billing and payments
• Send transactional emails (job notifications, billing receipts)
• Monitor and improve service reliability
• Respond to support requests

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share data with:

• Payment processors (Stripe) to handle billing
• Infrastructure providers as necessary to deliver the service
• Law enforcement when required by law

Video Content

Your video files are processed on our infrastructure and stored temporarily during transcoding. Source files and output files are deleted from our systems within 24 hours of job completion unless you configure otherwise. We do not access, view, or analyze the content of your videos.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use Vercel Analytics for privacy-friendly, anonymous usage analytics — no tracking cookies are set for this purpose.

Data Retention

Account data is retained for the lifetime of your account. Usage logs are retained for 90 days. Billing records are retained as required by law. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days.

Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), encrypted data at rest, and access controls. API keys are hashed before storage.
